The Illustrator - Katy
To illustrate the books about Mandy and Raven I use a computer and a drawing tablet.
When I was little I used to love drawing and coloring pictures on anything I could find. One time I even colored on the big empty walls of our hallway! Uh oh! Now though, I do my artwork on walls only after ASKING!
To illustrate the books about Mandy and Raven I use a computer and a drawing tablet. The tablet hooks right up to my computer and I use a special pencil on the tablet that translates my marks onto the computer screen. Once I’ve drawn the pictures on the computer I can then move them around in different ways to help illustrate the story.

My Furry Family
I have two cats and three dogs. Luna is a gray tabby cat. She loves to rub her face on everything. Luckie is a calico cat. She will play fetch and beg for treats, just like the dogs do.

Jojo is a tiny white Chihuahua that loves to burrow under blankets. We have to be careful not to sit on her. Lava is a medium size black German Shepherd mix who loves, loves, loves to play ball! Bubba is a large, very fuzzy, very sweet, and very gentle German Shepherd mix. He just wants to cuddle all the time.
